Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using JT Cut (the "Service"), operated by JT Digital d.o.o. ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (EU) or 13 years old (US/Canada) to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account

You sign in via Google SSO. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity under your JT Cut account.

You agree to:

  • Keep your account information accurate
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
  • Not share your account or let others use it

4. Service Description

JT Cut is an AI-assisted video editing platform. You upload media, arrange clips, and use AI features to generate narration and enhance your projects. We do not guarantee that generated content will meet specific quality, accuracy, or fitness requirements.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid features are available through subscription plans processed by Stripe.

  • Billing cycle: Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) until cancelled.
  • Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of a charge for consideration.
  • Free tier: A limited free tier is available with usage caps that may change at our discretion.

By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service .

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-generate content beyond normal use
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Upload malicious files or code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of all media you upload. Generated videos and narration are licensed to you for personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Our service: The JT Cut platform, its code, design, and branding are owned by JT Digital d.o.o. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

AI-generated content: Content generated by AI (such as narration) may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions. We make no representations about the copyright status of AI-generated output.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not responsible for content generated by AI, including any inaccuracies or potential IP issues.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service ceases immediately
  • Your content data will be deleted within 30 days
  • Payment records are retained as required by law

10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Slovenia.

For EU residents: You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform in accordance with EU Regulation 524/2013.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
